No retirement for AEW’s Bryan Danielson (yet)
LONDON — It appears that Bryan Danielson still has a lot of unfinished business in All Elite Wrestling, as his retirement tour will continue just a bit longer.
In a 26-minute banger in the main event of AEW All In London, Danielson dethroned Swerve Strickland via submission in a title match for the AEW World Championship.
Earlier in the night, according to the Wrestling Observer, Strickland signed a new deal with the promotion during the Zero Hour pre-show, sticking around for the long haul regardless of the outcome of the championship match.
Other title changes include Mariah May defeating “Timeless” Toni Storm for the AEW Women World Championship, HOOK regaining the unsanctioned FTW Championship from “The Learning Tree” Chris Jericho, PAC and the Blackpool Combat Club winning the AEW World Trios Championship, and Will Ospreay defeating MJF for the AEW International Championship.
